Required Skills

• Microsoft PowerApps (Canvas Apps): Must be able to build user-friendly, form-based applications with custom logic and dynamic UI behavior;
• Power Automate: For implementing workflows, sending email notifications, triggering approvals, and managing flow logic;
• Dataverse: Experience working with the Dataverse data model, relationships, and integration with PowerApps and Dynamics 365;
• Dynamics 365 F&O or Business Central: Basic understanding of how D365 handles master data (items, vendors, customers, etc.) and how external systems can push data into it;
• Microsoft Fabric (optional but highly preferred): Familiarity with storing structured business data within Fabric for analytics or data lake use;
• Strong ability to translate Excel-based data models into structured, relational data tables within Dataverse or Fabric;
• Ability to implement versioning logic — i.e., master data records that evolve over time with traceable change history;
• Knowledge of user-based role access and field-level security (e.g., which departments can edit or approve which fields).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a prototype system (POC) based on client-provided process logic and database models;
• Build: wizard-style forms for data input, review/approval interface for approvers, backend data model to support version control, approval tracking & audit history;
• Implement logic to send email notifications with approval links;
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to deploy and test the solution in a secure enterprise environment;
• Ensure data is structured for future integration with Dynamics 365.
